My Myspace page is acting funny... It takes too long to load!!?

My page is taking a long time to load. So I removed all the HTML I had, but I'm getting the same long load time. My friend's pages are different though, no matter how stuffed they are with pics, HTML, music, and etc, they load way faster than mines... Is there something wrong on Myspace's end, or could it be with me? I know this seems far fetched, but could there be some sorta of spyware or virus attacted to my page that causes this? I have no HTML, my page is bare so how, and why would it take so long to load??? It's annoying

Please no response telling me to remove my HTML and pics or music, i tried all that already and it's still the same...

    myspace just sucks with all their ads and crappy features (most are poorly copied from facebook). go facebook!

    if you have DSL it can be slowed by heavy traffic on your line. spyware or a virus are unlikely but just to be sure run a check. if you have access to another network cable try that. CAT 5 cable have 8 small lines in them and they dont all have to be working to transmit a signal you may check another cable if you have one. also shielded and unsheilded cable can have a difference if you have it next to another unsheilded cable or next or an electrical socket. check with your ISP "internet service provider" to see what your bandwidth is supposed to be.

    It could be the place where you are getting your background from. Or It could be your computer is just taking time to decode and encrypt the information coming in from something specifically you have on your page.
