are there two different colors of Grey uggs or do they fade?

Both. Ugg did change the shading of their classic grey boots, the coloring of all uggs fade over the duration of a year or so. Then again, the color of all uggs fade like that. Even with the protective spray most people's fade unless they have the sand color.

Hi the ugg company made a change in the company because the exact same thing happened to me. My friend have had the chestnut uggs for so long and I just got mine over the summer and they are a lot lighter then the ones my friends have. I personally like the change colors =)

when you use the wash some of the dye comes out

at least with mine it did

it even warns that the first couple times you wear the darker color boots

the color might transfer on to "lighter fabrics"

but i would stick with them because they are soooo comfy

ohh honey its ok i thought that tooo until my frien told me that they faded from gtting water and dirt on them. so the answer is that they do fade.
