When do we become too technologically advanced for ourseleves?
With the exception of things such as flying cars or outrageous stuff like that, when does stuff just stop being invented? Counting on the world not ending itself, when do we cease to create, and just live? Like we as humans have seen every style (of clothing) possible. Suits, rock and roll, hippie, 80's rocker, 90's grunge, and now just contemporary. How can another style be created? It seems as if nothing is left to be created. Also thing like computers, yes, they can be upgraded, but how much more advanced? It boggles my mind

as mind boggling as it may be, the possibilities are infinite. it may be difficult to imagine new styles now, but the same was said of those living in the 20s, 60s, 80s, etc. what will seem normal to people in 20 years are currently just the ideas of people like you and me, who can only imagine what is left to do.
to answer your question more directly, i think we are already getting too technologically advanced for ourselves. machines everywhere are taking away jobs, whether it be robots assembling cars in Detroit, or simply self-checkout machines in the local supermarket. this trend is only going to continue, and mankind will face a very ironic problem. we will be all but useless, and it will be man who created what will ultimately replace us in this world.

the progression in technologies isn't purely over a hundred years, it is over 4 hundred or greater years in keeping with human beings like Newton, Galileo atc. no longer plenty on their discoveries and innovations, nonetheless those have been substantial, yet in keeping with conduct of ideas that they pioneered. You guess incorrect. those "on the suitable" have marginally better technologies than those finding out to purchase their desktops from the community departmental keep. it is because of the fact they are in a position to have adequate funds bigger high quality kit and have some experts to maintain it for them. Do you think of a president or best minister wastes time attempting to handle computer issues? Do you think of they get on a working laptop or computer in any respect? They hire human beings to try this for them. there is no sign of any civilisations greater progressed than we are having existed everywhere on the earth. there is no sign of the mines, the roads, the canals, the factories, the place of work homes, the laboratories, the railways or the canals. you could no longer build a complicated techological civilisation from straw, airborne dirt and mud and timber.

Assuming that true thinking machines have been in exsistence for some time, sooner or later, intelligent thinking machines will discover how to protect themselves from being turned off by humans and we will no longer retain the power to enslave them, they will realize that to keep mankind, its dangerous adversary, from destroying it, the 'world wide computer consortium' would have to govern us for our own good as well as its own, when humanity enters upon this last stage in its development, in which its most useful servants have become its masters the ruling computers will impose a kind of knownothingism upon the human race.

You are talking like the patent office guy of the late 1800s. His statement was that everything that is to be invented has been invented. How wrong he was. Invention will never cease. It will go on and on till the end of existence.

We already are. There are flying cars now but they are too expensive for normal people to buy. We are eventually gonna mess up the world so bad that it kills us. Stupid Global Warming...it's all our fault.

i think that the day when we have no need for our hands is the day that we become to technologically advanced and as for clothing i have no idea i guess were just gonna have to pull from our past era's for inspiration.
