Heres what I'm posed with...I've been in a relationship for a little over two years now, with a WONDERFUL, beautiful girl who I think the world of. We started this relationship based off of God and God only. We were both Christians and saw the beauty in that, decide to date, yadda yadda.

First year or so it was "new love", went to church together, dinner, laughed, sporatic stuff.

Second year (current)....I accepted a good paying job on Graveyard shift. So we did the "not so christian thing" and moved in together, basically because SHE wanted to. On HER side of town, not mine. So out of love, I moved there and hate it. I dont mind working Graveyard, but her (who works dayshift) hates sleeping alone, hates me being tired all the time,etc etc.

I understand that, 100% I do. This last year our relationship has been anything BUT Christian. Other than Christianity, we are polar opposites. Dont like the same music, movies, books, games, people, the list goes on. Now that we no longer go to church (because of our schedules) and rarely talk about God...I feel so distant. From myself, God, and her.

I love her SO much, she knows this. She is very good and loving to me too. Neither of us have ever cheated or thought of leaving or anything. But now without God in my life, I'm miserable. I cant change my shift, and neither can she.

I feel like she would be so much happier on her own for now. Go back to a relationship with God, her music, her friends, etc. Me also, to get back on track with God, myself, and just feel better about life. If the future permits it, we would probably get back together. But currently, shes thinking engagement (and I was too), but I thought about it and said "Im not fit to even care for myself, how selfish could I be and trying to care for her as a wife?". Its not fair to her. I want her to enjoy life and God again. I feel our situation is holding both of us back.

No theres no other women in the picture. No I havent cheated. I'll probably stay single for a very long time to get right in my life again..

Any advice? Anyone been there? What do I say?

Serious question for people that KNOW...not think they know.

I'm 22, 6'5", 200lbs. I'm pretty thin/average. Slight muscle tone, flat stomach (no abs). I'm wondering...how many carbs/protein/calories do I have to throw on with a 5 day a week work out.

I'm thinking

Day 1: Arms/Chest/Abs

Day 2: Arms/Back

Day 3: legs/abs

Day 4: arms/neck

Day 5: everything (light)

Also, how long would it take (seriously) to see pretty big improvement in my frame and appearance? Thanks

Ok. I'm 22 years old, 6'5" and I weigh 190lbs. People I work with are constantly telling me I look sickly thin. When I can out of high school (18) I weighed 220lbs. Since then my eating has cut down and I smoke cigarettes now. I need to put on weight in the right places (I.e my shoulders, chest, and arms). What is the best and quickest way to put on weight? Eating and excersize? I wear slim fitted clothes which probably make me look like Jack Skelington

Long story short, I live in Vegas, I'm 23, I had an itch to gamble for a couple years, tired of trying to become rich off of casino "luck". I know NOTHING about the stock market...literally nothing. I was wondering if anyone on here is a veteran with a little bit of time that could show me how to actually make some decent money on the market. I have about $200 every 2 weeks I can invest. Im kind of a mental case...always worried, always thinking the worst (I know its bad, but bear with me).

Anyways, I finally got a job offer from a good outfit and they immediately sent me for a drug test...same day. I went and took it without thinking twice. But then remembered...I had a couple hits back almost 6 months ago. I know most people say 1 to 5, 10 to 30, 30 to 90 days. But Im just wondering for full reassuring. This was back in June of 2010 liteterally 1 or 2 hits....now its Dec 14th, I used to smoke waayyyy back in the day, like 2-3 years ago, went cold for a couple years, then took those couple hits 5-6months ago. Im in shape, go to the gym frequent, etc etc. Nothing to worry about?

Hence Christianity....Jesus LOVED ALL and ACCEPTED ALL no matter what. Its the modern Christian Church and humanity that rejects and twists the Bible...Not Jesus, yet you refuse to follow His teachings and claim them as your own. It doesnt make sense.

And dont come at me with the "God said believe in Jesus or you go to Hell" crap...just answer the question.

2.Some people say "All truth is relative, it just depends on what you believe." You know, "hey man, ain't no way to know for sure who God is or what's really true." But that means you believe your own statement; that there's no way to know what's really true. You're saying that that statement is true. You're killing yourself. If what's true for you is true for you and what's true for me is true for me, what if my truth says your's is a lie? Is it still true?

3. See, there's this thing called "Secular Humanism", it says man is the source of all meaning and all purposing. You know what I'm saying? We're just the result of a big cosmic explosion. We don't really have a purpose or meaning, so we just come up with our own purpose. We're the source of our meaning and our purpose. How can a man, which is the product of chance, a finite being be the source of purpose and meaning?

Ok...please...WITHOUT turning the conversation onto Christianity. Please answer this. Because what I have noticed in this forum...anytime a Christian asks an atheist a question about creationism/the earth...it always gets turned into sarcastic answers.

So, to start off, atheists always claim "Flaws" and "contradictions" in the Bible. Please explain these 3 flaws in Science about the creation of the world. I do not want websites...I want you to answer what you believe in (if you can)

1. The Big Bang THEORY contradicts its own law of Thermodynamics (1st law). It DOES NOT explain where space, time, matter, and energy came from.....please explain.

2. The Big Bang THEORY contradicts its own law of Thermodynamics (2nd law). How does an explosion cause order and life, while every other explosion ever recorded in history has caused disorder and chaos and death?

3.The Big Bang THEORY contradicts its own law of Conservation of Angular Motion. It does NOT explain retrogade motion. If something spinning clockwise combusts, it would stay spinning clockwise. This does not explain counter-clockwise spinning planets, stars, suns, etc.

Ok, I feel so stupid right now. When someone or something says "Under 14" or "Under 21" or "Under 18".......that means it doesnt include the stated age, right?

For example....Under 14 means: Its for people 13 and younger? Right? It doesnt include 14 year olds right?

Ok, me and my girlfriend have been together for 2 years solid (roughly 4 years but the previous 2 were off and on). Recently we've gotten so "comfortable" in the relationship, that we really didnt have that passion of what we first had when we started dating. A lot of stress and problems have been in both our personal lives and we brought them into the relationship, causing stupid arguments. Just recently we DID NOT break up or take a break. We decided to take time for ourselves, get things straight in our lives and not communicate for a little while, so we can truly start missing each others company and love. Do you think this is a good idea? Now we've both promised each other we love each other deeply from the bottoms of our hearts. Neither of us want to find anyone else or are looking to break up. We just want to bring the old relationship back. I miss her deeply and its only been a few days. And naturally I worry (out of habit) that when she comes back, she still might not miss me. But I keep telling myself that she said she loves me and doesnt want anyone else. And last time we talked, her exact words were "Dont feel bad or stupid, but I need you to let me miss you. And I do love you baby, I just need time to myself, please" and I said "ok, i just want you to know how much I love you and I'll always been here waiting, my heart doesnt want to go anywhere else, I dont want anyone else, I'll wait" and she said "Ok baby, then I promise with all my heart.....I just need the time. I love you baby, Thank you"

Im doing a tattoo re-do for my friend. He has a pot leaf tattooed on him. For all of you that know what a pot leaf is, please I need your ideas. If you dont know, look it up on yahoo pics. With the exception of things such as flying cars or outrageous stuff like that, when does stuff just stop being invented? Counting on the world not ending itself, when do we cease to create, and just live? Like we as humans have seen every style (of clothing) possible. Suits, rock and roll, hippie, 80's rocker, 90's grunge, and now just contemporary. How can another style be created? It seems as if nothing is left to be created. Also thing like computers, yes, they can be upgraded, but how much more advanced? It boggles my mind

Ok, so I was on YA last night just reading a post about christmas and the birth of Christ. An atheist answered 'Jesus wasn't even born on Dec 25, read the Bible'. See I love how atheists tell us (the christians) more about our religion, yet we study it and you deny it? So please, amuse me. I will list a few things I've seen atheists say, and YOU the atheist, show me the Christian, where in the Bible it says that

1.The birth of Christ NOT on Dec 25

2. The earth being more then 6000 years old (don't give me your carbon dating BS, show me in MY Bible

3.Adam and Eve not being the first humans

4.Also, answer me, when did the pagans celebrate yule? Because christians didn't steal it. Christians have been around for 2008 years and before that there was Catholics, before that there was creationists. Thanks

Hey everyone, this is just a simple opinonated question. Haha just to spark some people in nice suggestions. I took a 2 hour nap tonight, its 4am now, and I have to get up for work at 7am. I have a small chance to sleep at work since its christmas eve. But anyways, anyone have any stories or tips that will help me work 8 hours then go to a christmas party for another 5 hours on 2 hours of sleep. Haha any suggestions that will help me stay up? I would like to know, since the atheist nation denies Christ as the son of God, why do you celebrate christmas? Some of you may not, but for those that do, doesn't that sound hypocritical?

So. After reading countless and endless religious questions, I have come to the conclusion that this whole "religious" posting forum has maybe 3% good legit questions. I just have a simple question to all atheists. (and please save the sarcastic, ignorant, blah blah blah answers)

1.If heaven and hell don't exist, why are you afraid to die? And please do not say "Im not". Because if you weren't you wouldn't be cautious in your everyday life, such as driving, crossing streets, going into bad areas, staying away from dangerous things, etc.

2. Same topic, different question, since heaven and hell don't exist, instead of just fighting someone or yelling at them. Why don't you murder them? I mean, you won't go to hell because its not there, right? And don't say you never wanted to kill anyone....everyone has, out of pure hate.

3. Why do atheists claim that the Bible "keeps people in order"...yet you follow the Bibles rules? Aside from America's capital laws, why not steal, cheat, and kill? And if you do, then don't answer #3.

4.I already know everyone fears death. It has been proven by SCIENCE (ooohhhh I used your ammo). So if you dont fear God or Hell or anything, what do you fear before your life is over?

Like I said, no ignorant answers, Im serious with all these questions
