  • What is up with this?

State TV broadcast tips for anyone trapped in the earthquake. "If you're buried, keep calm and conserve your energy. Seek water and food, and wait patiently for rescue," CCTV said.

Watching TV would be the last thing someone would be doing while trapped in an earthquake.

  • IPL vs ICL. Why fight?

Since this is all about money, why don't the two groups get together and come up with a tournament? Something like the winner of ICL meets the winner of IPL. Kind of like NFL (NFC vs AFC). Everyone will be a winner and it will be fun too.

Since the BCCI is filled with ego-filled clowns, I don't think they would entertain such an idea.

  • Is this the mark of a true Christian?

I think it is very, very sad that people literally believe in the fantasy book called the Bible.

  • What do you think about this view of Christianity?

It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, atheist or theist, or whatever though I would like to hear from Christians For the record, I am an atheist. :)

I was having a discussion with a person at the office who is a Baptist. His belief is that Baptists are the true and original Christians. The others are not true Christians. In his view, any person who kills someone for any kind of gain (eg. Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanisthan) is not a Christian. Only those who passively submit to death, like Christ did, for the advancement of Christianity is a true Christian. Of course, the discussion went on for a while and there were lots of answers that he gave that was contradictory. One that he stated was that killing in self-defence is okay as long as it was not for Christianity. Huh? I respect his views even though none of it made any sense.

    Thank you. :)

The 3 boys had no business breaking into the house and beating up the child who is now an invalid. What would you do if they broke into your house and started beating up your family members?

  • What the heck was all that about?

Bowl-out? What? India and Pakistan tied and they both moved to the second level. Why have a stupid "bowl-out"? It doesn't mean a thing. Not even bragging rights. I can understand if they were fighting for a place in the next level. The points are not being carried over. So why? Oh!!! this silliness should stop. ICC and their rules.

  • W.Va Torture case?

The prosecutor wants to go for kidnapping, sexual assault and other such charges which will put the defendants in prison for life. He is not charging them with hate-crime. The Black churches are upset because there is not hate-crime being charged. Hate crime will send the defendants to prison for only 10 years. Am I missing something here or are the black church leaders that stupid not to ask for the longer sentence for the defendants? It is a hate-crime, no doubt about that but hey, why put them in prison for only 10 years when you can send them to the big house for life?

  • What do you about the Amish attending the funeral of the person who killed some of their own?

If only we could all learn to act like them, even if we don't want to live like them, the world would be a much better place to live in. I think it takes more courage to forgive than to get mad and hate. Can you attend the funeral of someone who killed one of your own? Can you forgive a person who killed one of your own? I don't think I can. My hats off to the Amish. I heard that they are collecting for the widow and children of the killer. That is raw courage.

  • Ever seen the sticker?

"My boss is a Jewish carpenter". Yet some Christians get mad when Jesus is referred to as a Jew. Why?

  • Why is it called mother tongue?

A person's father is English and mother Spanish but the person was born in Germany. The family moved to France and now the person has only spoken and only speaks French. What will the person's mother tongue be? Is it what the person's mother speaks? Is it the language of the country of the person's birth? Is it the first language that the person speaks? Is it English, Spanish, German or French? Just want to know what you all think.

  • If Wee Willie Winkie was nimble would he be jumping over candlesticks instead of tapping on doors?

Or would he be kicking Jack and chasing Jill and tumbling down the hill? Or looking up Miss Muffet's...while on a tuffet?

  • Fake or real?

Some of these pool (the game) shots are unbelievable. Do you think the table is tilted or some editing is being done? Not that these shots can't be made with practice but they are totally mind-blowing.

  • Football makes sense?

    Football FINALLY makes sense..........

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.

“Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"

"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming: “Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like . . .Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents”

  • What about the Oklahoma bombing?

How come we hear nothing much about it? Wasn't that a nasty one too? How many people have to die for us to remember events? Aren't we honoring the Oklahoma victims because it was done by a disgruntled American? If it was done by foreign terrorists would the situation be different? If it was done by American Muslims, would the situation be different?

9/11 was a major tragedy. Then again Pearl Harbor was too, Columbine shootings, other shootings that has happened. How come we aren't remembering those events.
