No they were never married, that is just disgusting because they are both male. But they were conrads at one time. The devil's name at the time was Lucifer or some other name that started with "L" but my point being he thought he was more powerful than God, he rebelled and God sent him away from Heaven, along with the angels (who became demons) who agreed with Lucifer and the were cast out of Heaven, 1/3 of the angels left. It says in the Bible that when the Earth came into being (not in Genesis) that the Devil somehow hovered over into it and settled there. What one rule, we choose to live in the temptations of the Devil, but he gives PARADISE TO US BECAUSE HE SENT HIS ONLY SON TO DIE FOR US. JESUS WAS HIS NAME HE WAS SENT TO BE THE LIGHT ON EARTH BECAUSE THE DEVIL SMOTHERED US IN DARKNESS, JESUS WAS SENT TO BE THE LIGHT THE ONE THAT CLEANSED US FROM THE DARKNESS(SIN). HE DID NOT STOP SIN (OR THE DEVIL'S INFLUENCES) FROM COMING INTO THE WORLD BUT GAVE US THE CHOICE TO BE CLEANSED BY BEING "SAVED" ( I AM NOT EVANGELIST, JUST EPISCOPALEAN, I AM SAVED). And every time we sin, if we say we want the Holy Spirit in our lives, God and Jesus will cleanse and forgive that sin, thats how he can give paradise to us. On another foot of how the Devil got the power to influence sin was from the Tree of Knowledge's apples, (THEY WERE NOT MAGIC) God put the apples there to see if Adam and Eve (the first man and woman) would obey God's commands and not eat them. The Serpent was one of the most vile creatures God had created, the Devil inhabited the Serpent's body and tricked Eve into eating from the Tree of Knowledge and she convinced Adam it was alright to eat from it, so he took a bite of the apple and all of sin was released and the Devil got that influence on the world. God was furious, he cast Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden (where all this took place, and put an Angel nearby with a sword I believe so they could not get back in) and punished them and all of the serpents. The serpent was originially a lizardish creature who had legs but God said that he shall slither among the dust(dirt) of the Earth for the rest of its days. Adam's punishment was to go and work for the rest of the days in the field of the Earth for his food, this was hard because the Earth was very young and no one had cultivated it grounds for growing so he would have a hard job ahead of him. Eve's punishment was greatly multiplied pain during childbirth. Not to mention the guilt of giving the Devil the influence over the Earth, even if she didn't know it was the Devil, she should have obeyed God and not eaten from it. Its like a child(simple, I know, they are people to though) if they are told not to have a cookie until they are supposed to, they are told and expected to obey that. But if an older brother or sister were to tell them they could have cookie and the child obeyed, then they would all be equally responsible.
