why is having 10 beers over a night bad?

think about it. If you drink 10 beers spaced out equally in 5hours (say you drink 8-1 am) , thats 2 an hour and you'd have a max .10 BAC at the end fof the night, accounting that you lose .02 per hour. .10 really is barely drunk, like i know people who drink up to like .25-.30 bac.

I told my doctor I drink 10-15 beers on nights I go out and he said thats terrible for you, but I don't understand why using this logic.

Because your doctor is a lightweight who is jealous of your drinking prowess and it's really not prowess. You said you only drink 10 beers a night. That's just average really

Don't listen to your doctor, keep drinking and don't be such a lightweight. Try for 15 beers a night

Whatever your decision, I wish you the best of luck in your drinking escapades. God Bless and Happy Drinking

This is not about being drunk or not being drunk in my opinion. Alcohol is a bunch of empty calories with almost no nutritional value. Its liquid junk food. Of course, it is hard on the liver and kidneys to have to metabolize the portion of alcohol that is considered a toxin. As a fellow human being I am expressing concern for your body. After 30-40 years of this treatment you will experience some health problems even if you never get plastered. Sorry if I sound crabby, but a close male relative of mine developed some fatal health problems because he drank a lot of alcohol.

One! It has way more carbos than most of us want to deal with.

two! The carbos are high level calories and make one fat.

Three! I happen to like my liver and do not care to pickle it.

four! Alcohol has a cumulative effect. It really doesn't all wear or work out of the system for about 24 hours after drinking it.

Five! and most important. Breathalyzers are set at .02 and you will be in the jail looking out at us for DUI.

I happen to think it is much better party if you drink non alcoholic beverages. They taste better.

I just went through a drug and alcohol training and they said it takes 1 hour for your body to filter out one drink. So if you were to drink 2 drinks an hour after the third hour you would not pass a breathalyzer. I would take you another three hours to pass it.

That is assuming you are as fat as I am. If you weigh less than me it will take longer for you to be able to pass the breathalyzer.

it's because having continuous alcohol over 5 hours makes your body get 'used to' having the alcohol, so when you stop drinking, your body actually goes through withdrawel (which is what we refer to as a hangover).

It is considered heavy drinking and can lead to liver disease, pancreatic cancer and of course, alcoholism.
