I last long when my wife plays w/me, but not long when...?

OK, so here goes...ya pretty much get the idea from the title. 

While my wife plays with me, I can stay erect and not c*m for a long period of time, but it's over within minutes of proceeding to intercourse. Same if we don't fool around much before intercourse, only several minutes in and that's it. 

I know that it is probably psychological, since it occurs after penetration. But I was hoping to get some suggestions on overcoming this problem.

Here is a little 'bout me that might help:
Late 30's
Non-smoker
Not overweight
Not TOO stressed
Get a decent amount of rest
No medical issues
LOVE sex...but want to last longer!

I really don't want to go to the dr. for Viagra or something...not even sure if that is the answer since I can still get 'er up.

forget everything everyone says and go c a doctor its a medical issue and u cant just ask people to help like that, there r lots of medications now u can use for such a problem. dont do anything and ruin yr love life.

my husband has the same problem.  He just recentlty realized this after I finally said something (not something that you can easily bring up without hurting egos).  Do you take any medications? Is this a recent problem or has it always been this way? I feel like my husband is 18 and just started having sex because he literally lasts 10 seconds. It doesnt do a thing for me at all, and I resort to artifical means and having computer friends. However, my husband has a problem getting is up as well... I am not sure about your problem without knowing if this is new or not...

Well, as long as you play with her and bring her to the big O before penetration, it should be ok. Maybe not ideal, but OK. From what I read, it is more common than you may think. 

Once you have c um, wait however long it takes and try again. If that is no good because you have to wait too long, masturbate before hand, so penetration doesn't get you off so quickly. Good luck.

Try watching a clock. Set a goal of making it last one minute longer each week. Stop and hold off before you ejaculate. Try to get up to at least 15 minutes.

Work out legs. Do thigh work outs and go to yoga to control your breathing. That helps me out...when i was younger though i tried thinking about something else and biting my knuckles lol. Worked to an extent
