Very happily married for 30++ years. Will give advice when I feel I can help - very happy to help. I am a photographer - an occupation I love. I feel many people make a chore out of marriage - it is supposed to be fun, but many over think it. We have a great life because we always think the best of whatever the other partner does. We both put the other first, so we each feel like we are spoilt! It's great! It's not that hard. Life, sex, marriage should be great fun - ours is.
Why do Americans (US) .....?
say "I could care less"? I am used to saying "I COULDN'T care less i.e. my caring for this particular thing is as low as it could go - I couldn't care any less if I tried.
The way it appears to me that US folks say it is, they COULD care less,so there is still room to go before they just couldn't care about it.
Nit picking, but I find it interesting. Is it just through common usage without thinking about what the words mean?
Interested in your thoughts. Thanks.
2 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoLadies re: porn - have you ever considered...?
letting your man take nude or partially clothed photos of you, so he doesn't NEED to look at porn?
I often see questions on here about the problems porn brings to marriages - why not do something about it?
I am not suggesting anything over the top or disgusting. I have taken photos of my wife over the years....mostly just nude - at a secluded beach, under a beach shower, in a wet tee shirt, riding a surfboard, sunbaking, at home in the shower, getting a nude massage, walking downstairs, in the kitchen, playing golf, being bodypainted, short skirt blowing up, in beautiful lingerie.....
I don't NEED to look at porn - when I get "stirrings" and she isn't around or available, I can just look at the photos of her, and I'm right to get on with my day again. Surely it's better than looking at someone else! It's just part of our sexlife.
Yes, yes, I know you probably don't think you look good enough, and neither does she, BUT she knows that I love her for her and I don't expect her to be like 20yr old model. Husbands/partners are more forgiving than you girls are of your imperfections.
Think about it - it MAY help. I NEVER need porn as she is always here on my computer with me.
It has to be worth considering........

5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoJava has just done an update on my computer & now everytime I try to do something in Internet Explorer,
Vista asks for permission to carry it out with Java. I guess during the update, Java has made itself "top dog" with my Internet Explorer. Does anyone know how to remove the Java association, so I am not continually asked for permission?
3 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoDisappearing F, G, H drives?
I have an HP running Vista Ultimate and find that my F,G, H (for compact flash, SD cards, etc) drives keep disappearing on me (i.e. double click on My Comp and only C:, D & E drives are visible). When I want to view images from my CF card, I have to re-start the computer to be able to see the drive. If I just put the card in, nothing happens. Is there another way to view them without having to re-start the computer? (I find it a real nuisance as I usually have 10 - 20 things minimised). Any ideas why this happens?
4 AnswersDesktops1 decade agoTypo or not?
I only go on Marriage & Divorce (to see if I can help answer questions), that's why I am asking my question here. I have noticed lately that some people substitute "then" for "than" e.g. Angelface just now...."we have been more like room mates then a couple for the past years...". At first I thought it was just a typo, but I am seeing it more and more. What gives? Are these all typos or are people changing the language, or are they just a bit ignor... didn't pay attention at school? Thanks everyone.
13 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHair down there.. What do women do to keep it totally hair free and soft without stubble?
My wife finds it tickles/annoys right from the next day. I hate the "landing strip" and we don't really want to go back to a "close trim". How do most women handle this problem? Heeelllp! Thanks..
