Java has just done an update on my computer & now everytime I try to do something in Internet Explorer,

Vista asks for permission to carry it out with Java. I guess during the update, Java has made itself "top dog" with my Internet Explorer. Does anyone know how to remove the Java association, so I am not continually asked for permission?

Update:

Thanks for the answers so far!

I am not wanting to totally delete Java, just the association with Internet Explorer, so it doesn't drive me crazy!

Uninstall it and reinstall the most updated one. You need java for some sites and it should work automatically. If it's still playing up that means it didn't install properly.

not knowing much about Vista, I preffered to stay with XP you must be able to give it permission, somewhere in the settings, you need Java so you don't want to delete it, suggest looking under file properties.
