UPA OR NDA, WHICH WOUD YOU PREFER ?

UPA anytime.

At the outset, I am not a supporter of any political party in India. I vote for a candidate (be it MLA or MP elections) who is best of for my area rather than voting for a party.

UPA seems to be secular but it is apparent that they are playing religion card to reduce vote bank of NDA. They over highlighted pragya thakur's case ONLY because they wanted to show off they are secular and in the meanwhile forgot that all extremist should eb caught and not only terrorist belonging to hindu religion. Anyways, my preference is still Congress keeping in mind lot of factors, data because of one major reason - There are lot of good leaders to look up to - Manmohan Singh, Chaidambaram, Rahul Gandhi etc. but there is no 'good leader' in BJP (lesser we talk about Advani, the better)

BTW Mr. Abraham, theres a saying in Hindi that "Taali ek haat se nahi maar sakte." Secularism has been a much misused word in this country. It has become more akin to Hindu-bashing than anything else. And progressive, well Gujarat happens to be one the most progressive states in India. Simply aping the western culture doesnt make one progressive.

I would prefer growth of Hindutwa rather than growth of terrorist. So N.D.A is better option and those worry about growth of Hindu should go to Pakistan or elsewhere. U.P.A must clear its stand that they really fear Hindu growth. Is the anti-Hinduism is secularism? Let the Hindus of India know it.

Her party in Maharashtra did not restrain the regional chauvinistt Mr Raj thackeray who was injuring the north Indians savagely, but had the courage to warn the Karnataka and Orissa govts for the control of crime against minorities.. An open duplicity and lapse that suits the pseudo secular govt formed by her..!!

So it was a sad thing that she came to power (as de facto PM while keeping Dr Sing as de jure PM).. that too not with people's mandate but by forming an opportunistic alliance with all sort of conflicting parties..!!

If a few good things happened in spite of her it was due to Dr Singh.. a blessing for us amid the curse of a congress govt..!!"
