all you do when you need to transfer photos to an sd card is insert the sd card in to a card reader and make sure that it is plugged in to the computer and save your photos to a new foldert on your desktop and right click the folder and send files to SD card.

If you have a SD Enabled enabled Laptop then definitely you can transfer photos from Laptop Computer to an SD Card but if you are using an Desktop Computer then you need a SD Card reader to transfer the photos.

Yes, you can put any files onto an SD card, you can even use it to store Excel or Word files for example.
Put the SD card into a digital camera and plug the camera into the computer (or use a card reader).
Then drag and drop the files from the computer to the SD card.
Some computers come with a built in card reader so in that case you'd just plug the card into the card reader.

Yes, whatever device You have that uses an SD card will be able to read and write from the "My Computer" folder on your system.
If you;'re just thinking of buying an SD card for stirage as a flashdrivem I recommend it, because they seemm to be the fastest advancing in terms of available drive capacity, and access speeds. I use a 5-in-1 USB adapter that I got for $3.99 from www.geeks.com, with any size SD card I choose to plug into it.
I also have a multi-player device (Camera, vid-cam, MP3, MP4, NESGames, etc) from them (that I got for $29.99) that reads and writes the device's cards while they're plugged into it, under the "My Computer" folder as stated above.
As long as You can plug the card into your system somehow, You can accees the files on it, or save them to it. It is a fully read/write/erasable/modifiable capable media just like a blank CDRW or floppy disk.
Sorry - meaning the files can be saved or edited or erased one at a time or all at once, You don't have to re-format the card to save new stuff, or remove a single file.
Good luck!.

you gotta have a sd card reader to hook up to the computer, or its built into the computer. you can use an mp3 player, a camera, etc... as long as it hooks up to the computer. access the sd card through "my computer" on the start menu and just drag and drop your files onto the card. remove the card from the device, and place in your photo frame, and there ya go! ;)

Yes but its very difficult. Your best bet is to buy a new computer that has an sd slot in the cdrom drive. You can buy adapers that are the same size as a cd that u put ur card in and then insert the cd into the drive but they dont always work as if your drive spins too fast it will make the card shatter into peices and destroy your computer
