It is so common place that it isn't news worthy. Sadly, African country's are so corrupt and poorly managed, this is the result. Apartheid had many of the characteristics of communism, most were bad but a few were better than democracy.
Control of the bad people was a sample of what I mean by this. Under these controlled regimes, the events that happened in Uganda would never have happened under Apartheid !
This is not a testimony to bring back apartheid, but it is a reason to study it to determine why it worked then, but no longer works !

The events in Uganda, as terrible as they are, don't have ramifications of bringing the entire middle east and beyond into open warfare. That is why it isn't given the same attention as Israel.

and Somalia is on the verge of compete chaos, Sudan is a living hell Zimbabwe is messed up but really no one cares or has good info on Africa most of the time
