I suppose is depends on what Beatles time frame you like best. I mean you might like The Monkees or you might like Badfinger.
The Who's first album, "The Who Sings My Generation" is classic Mersey Beat. Give that a try.

Jimmy Jazz is right. As I'm sure you know, The Beatles' catalouge is very diverse. For each different style there is a different band compatible with the sound. But overall, I would suggest The Who. The Who is my favourite band, followed closely by The Beatles. I wouldn't say they are extremely similar, but I enjoy both. I would also try Bob Dylan and The Kinks. And it would be hard to go wrong by giving a listen to each Beatle's solo career. Good luck!
Haha, sorry my answer's a bit repetitive.

Band of Horses, The Shins, Iron and Wine, Tom Petty (wild flowers), Paul's albums after the beatles are not that great, but the others are not bad. Radio head (in rainbows), Elton Johns earlier music is good, I would also go back further in time from the beatles and try to find some of their influences.

A lot of The Kinks' stuff is very Beatles-like. Go buy The Kink Kronikles.

If you like the ''early'' Beatles, purchase some cd's by The FOURMOST, The MERSEYBEATS, The SWINGING BLUE JEANS, and GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS.
If you like that "latter day'' Beatles, buy some cd's by KLAATU.
Some 70's bands that styled themselves after The Beatles were The RASPBERRIES, The KNACK, & BADFINGER .( and all recorded for Capital Records )

If you go to www.pandora.com you type in a band or a song and it will break the song down to certain sounds and an exact science of simalarities and it gives you other songs and bands that are similar to help you hear new music that you might like. I hope that helps. Good Luck

verify out your interior reach college radio stations or see what you will detect on winamp/shoutcast radio. that's fairly the comparable element as xm basically you get admission to it via your pc. you may turn around to all categories of song from all the a number of eras. way cool! you will discover which you like stuff which you in no way had any concept which you had a style for! bear in techniques, previous stuff is purely as solid because of the fact the recent!
