Afraid to serve our country?

The obnoxious Cons in our shop always want to explain how they support the troops. However, they were all to coward to serve themselves. All the Dems in my shop all served at different eras in time, but we really don’t say very much, we know what war is. Is it where I work or republicans afraid to serve our country?

Update:

Where you work, McCain??????

Update 2:

90% of the military??? LOL

Update 3:

Did the left wing media say 90%

Update 4:

The magic word is obnoxious cons, this does not mean every con.

I served my country and actually saw combat. Anyone who claims there are Republicans or Democrats in the military never really served. Anyone claiming that politics or political parties is what is on the minds of the soldiers in a combat zone have never been in one. I voted for McCain partly because he served the country in combat and I feel better about a combat veteran being Commander-In-Chief than someone who never served at all.

    Must be where you work.

My husband is a Republican, who is 19 years in the Infantry...5 deployments under his belt and due home any day now after 15 long months thank God. All but 1 man in his platoon are Republican as well, so I think it is where you work.

But to be fair, I work with a lot of Democrats who fully and wholeheartedly support our troops.

Personally I find your question offensive.

Through my experience it is mostly liberal Demos in their early 20 somethings that say they will go to Canada or Mexico if there was a draft. I know alot of Republicans who have served and alot of Demos who have to, Stop being so hateful and generalizing.

Those folks are called "chicken hawks".

Chicken when it was THEIR time to serve.

Hawks now that it is someone elses time to serve.

I can't claim that one. It's a Jesse Ventura line. Check out the link. Priceless.

Go to 7:40 of the video...but the video as a whole is priceless!

I highly doubt that is true. My brother is a Republican and served. I can't due to my leg being physicaly limited to what it can do. Your dumb for saying some crap like that.

    I'm a repub, I wanted to join.

Went all the way through MEPS and got a medical disqualification... When I applied, it was BAD to have Lasik. Nowadays, it's cool, but I'm still permanently medically DQ'd.

    Go figure.

Did you forget about McCain's war experience, as well as the fact that about 80% of the troops SUPPORT the war? My friend VOLUNTEERED to go on another tour of duty.

All of those Republicans are already over there, the rest are back here WORKING for a living, keeping others supported with their taxes!
