M14 or G-3 sniper rifle?

I wouldn't use either one as a sniper rifle because neither the M14 nor the G3 are sniper systems. Both are DMRs (desginated marksman rifle) and will not be used as a sniper rifle by anyone with experience.

Technically there is no sniper weapon called the M14. The Sniper Rifler based on the M14 is the M21. The M14 by itself is only used as a marksman weapon.

Still would take the M14 over the G3

Have you considered the spring Warrior AK 47 airsoft sniper rifle? It seems like a nice choice for someone on a budget. I haven’t used it before but read a few positive reviews. The only problem I could see is its fps, which seems a little low at 200fps, but if your using it a relatively small field it should work.

Kind of a tough choice since both have their good points, but I'd pick the M-14 due to it's better trigger, ease of use, and better accuracy potential, especially if you have to rely on just iron sights. The G3 is easier to mount optics and to clean, but I'm not a big fan of all the stamped parts it has.

Personally, I would have to say, the G3 "SG1" variant.

It is the Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) version, with a slightly longer barrel.

Why would I chose it?

-Pistol grip

-grip+stock design prevents excessive recoil common in the M-14

-Variants allow for collapsible stock, sound suppressor, grenade launcher, and 3-rd burst settings

I would rather vote for the American product but, unfortunately, the G3 is, in this case, a better weapon.

Quite comfortable to shoulder, too!

M-14 for sure I have used one. It is a very, very good weapon
