What is the best place to live ? We like: warm weather, the beach, kids/schools, housing less than $350K?

We are a professional couple with 2 school age kids. Love the outdoors, the beach, warm weather, nice cafe's and coffee shops, cute little towns, safety. We can move anywhere in the world...but would probably prefer to stay in the USA if possible. We work in healthcare. Would like to hear where you think the best place to live is and why....

Check out either of the Carolinas (North, South) -- you'll find that housing is affordable, the people are FANTASTIC, you've got your beaches -- I can't vouch for the school systems or the job opportunities, but it's woth the time to investigate.

Source(s): Personal experience, and close friends of mine have owned a 2nd home in Myrtle Beach for years.

    North Carolina

    South Carolina

    Georgia

    Florida

That's just me though. If I could, I would move to South Carolina near Hilton Head, Jekyll Island, Sea Island.

I stay interior the Midwest and bypass to a zoo right here frequently that has penguins out interior the warmth air in the time of the summer season, so my guess could be they could survive it, in view that they are able to outlive ninety degree days out interior the open.

Florida, especially if you are willing to work in geriatrics.

There are alot of foreclosures available, so 350,000 should buy a nice home anywhere,
