1989 Sport Craft Sprint CC1900. Engine: 3.7L Mercruiser with Alpha One out drive.

Does anyone know if any other engine will be compatible with this out drive and which one? I may need a new engine for our excellent condition boat.

Anyone know where I can find a rebuilt motor? I've searched and searched and no luck. No one local here either that will work on our engine.

I had gel nail polish on for two weeks, and went to take it off with nail polish remover with acetone.

Soaked them for over 30 mins and I still have spots of clear base coat on my nails. I tried to file the clear coat with a super fine glass file and it won t come off!

Love the look of the gel nail polish, but taking it off is ridiculous!

A 70's Trans Am or a base 70's Chevelle?

After spending a lot of money to have someone put new grass seed down along with aerating, and new grass seed fertilizer last year in the fall, not one blade of grass has come up and instead I have weeds!

I have come to the conclusion that they used an annual grass seed.

I need a perennial grass seed for NC area.

What is the best, low weed content, seed?

Tall Fescue, Rye?

Many of the bags that I looked at, do not state annual or perennial.

are accepting cars for restorations? Like Overhaulin , which is not accepting cars at this time.

Brought our dog to the vet this morning, and it turns out to be diabetes and not a UTI.

He is still there and being monitored.

We will have to give him a shot every day.

I have read up on it since I have been back from the vet, and I am reading that I need to change his diet.

I also read that the shot and food should be given at the same time each day.

What is the best dry dog food out there for this type of situation and being our dog is so picky with food, what if he doesn't eat when I put it out and have to give him his shot?

Our dog is about 7yrs old and recently went to the vet for a minor procedure on his nails. He was not sedated, only given Ace to calm his nerves.

Since then, he has been having accidents every night.

I've noticed his water bowl is empty when I wake up in the morning, and now just today, when I went to take him out, then brought him in, he drank almost a half a bowl of water.

He is healthy and we are not really understanding what is going on all of a sudden. He has never done this before.

As mentioned in my previous question, I cannot access my important documents through Microsoft Office 2010.

With that being said, if I should download another program such as "Open Office", will the files automatically stay where they are and I can open the files, or do I need to transfer the documents over to a new program?

I would assume that I have delete the Microsoft Program off of my computer, correct?

I just think this is all bull dinkies that we have to pay for something that is so critical when using our computers.

You pay TOP dollar for a new computer then asked to renew a program that can cost over $300.00. REALLY?

What other advice can you give me so that if and when I change over to a new program, the process will be easier?

I'm really annoyed with this Microsoft Office 2010. They want the product key code, in which I do not EVER remember seeing it when we purchased this new computer from Best Buy.

I kept all documents, and there is nothing.

Best Buy will not help.

So, now I am stuck like many others, that cannot access important documents. There is an orange icon now and telling me that either I put the code in or now I have to pay an outrageous price to use the program to access my files.

Is there ANY way to access my files, without using Microsoft Office?

Before buying this newer computer, I had a computer for 8yrs and not once did I ever had to "pay" again to access my files.

We recently bought a numbered car from out of state, not really knowing much on the history of it, other then the Carfax report.

Friends of ours test drove the car before we bought it and all seemed fine UNTIL we had possession of it.

In a 4 month period we spent over $3000.00 in repairs.

Now, the car went in for a starter which broke away from it's bolts and it was replaced, and now I am told that the motor is shot.

Note: There was no indication of the motor going bad prior to the starter issue.

We really love this car, and now it does not run. These cars in running condition goes for about $19,000.00 according to people that own these cars and Ebay/Craigslist prices.

We bought the car for $8000.00 + the $3000.00 in repairs.

Now I don't know how much it will cost us to repair or replace the motor, but so far I found out a new engine will cost $6000.00 (crate engine)

I cannot find any value of this car through KBB or NADA, and I have no clue on what to ask for in a selling price with it not running.

Keep in mind, these are rare cars.

What would you do? Keep the car and invest more or sell it and take a major loss?

2000 Pontiac Firehawk

Ours son's 1984 Firebird, 6cyl car needs the "O" ring replaced under the distributor cap.

He brought it to a mechanic and he said that he couldn't do it because he needed a special tool. So the mechanic went and bought a tool and it wasn't the right one.

Some say that this is all nonsense and that you don't need a special tool to get to this.

Any suggestions?

I don't get it? Your inside the car, but yet some of these kids/young adults have the music blaring from the front of the car in which everyone around them can hear it, and while driving on the interstate, local roads, etc.

I find it extremely annoying. Maybe some of us don't like your type of music.

Anyone else ever encountered this?

I like to know which brand you like best for your car.

We have the older models of the Garmin NUVI, but it seems the newer ones are having some issues. We have always like the ease, the large screen, and the price of the Garmin.

I'm looking to replace several of our Garmin's with another brand under the price of $150.00.
