Update on my question with dog urinating in the house all of a sudden.?

Brought our dog to the vet this morning, and it turns out to be diabetes and not a UTI.

He is still there and being monitored.

We will have to give him a shot every day.

I have read up on it since I have been back from the vet, and I am reading that I need to change his diet.

I also read that the shot and food should be given at the same time each day.

What is the best dry dog food out there for this type of situation and being our dog is so picky with food, what if he doesn't eat when I put it out and have to give him his shot?

What will happen?

Since this is a medical question, you need to ask a medical professional, your vet. I'm sorry that there are no vets on Yahoo Answers.

I recommend that you write these questions down and ask them when you pick up your dog to bring him home. Your vet will be willing to help you all he or she can. Write the answers down so you won't forget .
