What kind of paint should I use on a rusty old utility trailer?

Its pretty sad and rusty looking, and i want to paint it so it looks better and to protect the welds and such. It has wire mesh in the front and would be almost impossible to sand. Is there some kind of paint that can go right over the rusty stuff? Im thinking maybe an oil based paint?

I would use a rustoleum product - you will probably need to sand it with a wire brush first, and then use a spray paint.

Definitely an oil based enamel for metal, like Rustolium brand. But, remember the finish is only as good as the preparation.

As long as you're comfortable. You also own 2 rental properties? So if you were to liquidate yourself, how much would you be worth, 500 thousand dollars? YOU RICH TEEN!

    Tremclad, after sandblasting or cryoblasting.
