Are you ready to toss out the dried up Christmas tree yet ?

took it down sunday. it's on the curb right now.

I do not take out my Christmas tree until the 9th of the new year. It is traditional for my family to wait until the 9th.

Well, January 6th (the Feast of the Epiphany) is traditionally considered the last day of Christmas so that's how long I leave mine up.

...which seems a little silly since I'm an atheist.

chunk it. we threw ours out today.... was very sad. I hate having to throw them out each year but hey you do what you have to.. theres always next year. :) New Years is another reason you should toss it. Most people are getting rid of thiers so there really isn't a point to keeping it much longer.

I don't touch any decorations until 12th night. My tree goes back in the box and is put up the attic.

Just leave it. It isn't hurting anybody by leaving it up a couple days longer.

If it's that dry, it might be best to throw it out. You don't want a fire!
