Why do people think that everyone is 'hating' on them?

Everywhere I go, people are always saying 'don't hate on me' to complete strangers! They put it on their myspace, facebook, and cars but who are these 'haters?'

  • lmao, that was funny. A hater is someone, who well, hate on someone else. I think it is pretty much self explanatory. Say if i got my jordans on and u mad at me cause you don't got 'em and i would tell you to 'don't hate' now you get?

  • Maybe because they've been hated on before, and don't care to repeat the experience?

    ...I honestly have no clue.

The only people I've ever seen say that are the people with giant pink sparkly graphics on their page, in which case, they should be afraid of "haters".
