I asked a question earlier to all non-believers/atheist but not one person answered me, maybe you will.

Do you think that this verse lines up with your views?

2 Peter 3:3-4 states:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

If you find yourself agreeing with this passage maybe you should check out the next few verses:

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

I'm confused. Since JW's believe that, "Jesus died to save you from the wages of sin. The wages of sin is death, it is not eternal life in torment," then all people who have physically died must be unrighteous then, right? If not what 'death' did Jesus (die to) save us from?

Or do righteous JW's live forever without dying at all?

Cause the bible says: It is appointed unto man ONCE to die, and THEN the JUDGMENT(Hebrews 9:27).

And: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev. 21:8

Then DEATH and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the SECOND DEATH, the lake of fire. Rev. 20:14

Finally: 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.'

Rev. 2:11

I asked a question earlier to JW's about why Jesus died if not to free us from death i.e. eternal torment. Many stated that death was not the same as eternal torment, so I was wondering if maybe someone could help me understand better Rev. 20:14 which states:

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And also, JW's if there is no eternal punishment then why preach to people?

I thought that Jesus died so that we could be saved from the wrath that is to come because of sin. Atleast that's what the Bible teaches. But not according to JW's so why do you knock on our doors and tell us about Paradise if we're all going there anyway, good or evil? Please don't try to get my question revoked, if you don't know the answer just be honest.

Please don't say something like 'Gehenna or hell means trash heap.' The verses below clearly talk about hell which is thrown into the lake of fire as an eternal place of torment:

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to EVERLASTING life, and some to shame and EVERLASTING contempt.

—Daniel 12:2

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

—Matthew 5:22

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

—Matthew 10:28

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the UNQUENCHABLE FIRE. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.

Matthew 24: 36-39 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Matthew 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Mark 14:61-62 Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?" "I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Might One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Luke 21:25-28 "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

NOTE THAT IN THAT VERSE PAUL SAYS OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN!!!!

1 Thessalonians 4:15-5:4 According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of god, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 1:1 (according King James which they claim to interpret New World Translation from) states: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Yet NWT states: In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was [a] god.

What's up with that?

I want to know if this book prompted anyone to live holier? Evangelize more? Love harder? Fear God?

I have heard from honest white people about their personal feelings about a black president. Now I want to know what they think about the recent spur in race crimes against blacks.

Everywhere I go, people are always saying 'don't hate on me' to complete strangers! They put it on their myspace, facebook, and cars but who are these 'haters?'

I would like to hear from white people who did not vote for him as well as ones who did. If you're black or another race please don't make a comment for white people. They have their own mouths. Unless of course you are commenting what some else said that you heard.

The word atheist means someone who knows that God does not exist. No one is forcing you to believe in God, so why does it seem that atheist are always congregating like a bunch of church folk on religious sites, blogs, etc.? Are you trying to set the captives free from belief, curious, or just lost? Be honest.
