Watery discharge. any advice?
If this is too much info for immature people to take, then don't answer this question please.
But yesterday, late afternoon, i stood up and i felt a sort of gush of water down there, it wasn't a lot just enough for me to stand all still and say "i don't think i just peed on myself..." well my husband said that i would know if my water had broken (i have a 1 1/2 year old) but when my now ex sister in law was pregnant with my nephew, her water had broken but it was just a little tear and she didn't know if it had broken or not until she went to the hospital and they confirmed it. Well now, instead of having a regular mucusy mucus plug come out, it's been more watery. I have been loosing my mucus plug for almost two weeks, and it just alarmed me that it's watery.
Anybody got any suggestions??
Also, i'm 32wks today w/a high risk pregnancy. The baby was diagnosed w/hydroplaxia and spina bifida.
I didn't want to go to the hospital on another false alarm (ive never gone for water breaking, im just saying). Everytime I go, they act like i'm paranoid and don't know what the hell i'm talking about.

The same thing happened to me, when my water broke, it wasn't a gush, it was just slowly leaking out of me. Go to the hospital, they will test the fluid to see if it is amniotic fluid.
and being 32 weeks, get there now.
***edit December 31st- this is a high risk pregnancy! Who cares what strangers in a hosptial think?! This is your heart and soul that you are carrying! GOOO***

Given that you're high risk, don't take any chances, go to the doctor. You have more than enough potential risk factors, if your water has broken, you need to get to the hospital IMMEDIATELY to be safe.
Good luck, take care!

I would go the doctor's office because since your pregnancy is high risk, I would not take any chance guessing. best of luck!

You need to get it checked out if you are indeed ruptured you need to at the minimum get on antibiotics. Your baby already has a long road ahead of it and does not need sepsis added to its problems.
