How much alcohol is in an "airline miniature"..?

Just how much liquors is in the little bottle that they serve on planes. Is it 1 shot worth or what?

    it's 50 ml.... that's 1.5 shots. 30ml is a standard shot ( 1 oz)

    a. alcohol is a REALLY profitable business for airlines. Those tiny bottles cost $1, but they sell them for $5. Sell 5 per flight with 200 flights a day per airline times 365 days equals almost $1.5 MILLION b. flight attendants reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone. therefore, they can stop serving someone. a drunk on the flight who is rowdy can get arrested. (i would let the flight attendant know if you don't that they are aware of how the alcohol is effecting a person's behavior)

    It's 50ml or 1.7 ounces, which is depending on your view, one shot or a tiny bit more than one

    Alcohol is rated by volume. So whatever the volume of alcohol it says on the bottle, that is the percentage of that bottle is pure alcohol.

    It's about two thirds of a shot.
