Republican, why do you personally hate obama so much?
i know not all republicans do, that need not be stated, but honestly,
You an disagree with him, but some of the things I've seen posted reflect a personal vendetta! he
a)is not an arab or muslim (just to clear that up -McCain even said so)
b) has appointed republicans to his cabinet -something mccain would not have done and it shows respect for the democratic process -he cares and wants to ensure repulican 'ideals' are represented in his government because people voted for them
c) he has given hope to and inspired millions, these are 2 things which move nations forwards -and he's given it to America!
d) he's not a communist or a socialist, some of his policies seem left wing but if you stand his policies to that of, say, the USSR, anyone with more than 30% of their brain can see he's no communist or socialist
e) he has given hope to one of the poorest minorities in America that they can make something of themselves, that the american dream can still be acheived!
f) he's a smart and eloqouent speaker
g) he's a decent guy
I just don't get it Obama is so amazing but to personally hate him, as some reps on this site seem to, is not understandable!

I just don't like his politics or his in-ability.
But I am somewhat surprised about him leaning moderate. Unlike Bill Clinton that signed some type of declaration of homosexuals in the military, - on the first WEEKEND he was president.
BTW: If a 'black' president will resolve some of the racial propaganda spouted from some minority groups, about the U.S. being a racist and oppressive country, - then I'm willing to 'suck it in' for 4 years.
Edit:
eloqouent speaker? - Yeah, with a tele-prompter.
given hope to and inspired millions? - I'm afraid that these folks think that the govn't needs to "do more", - and that equates to bigger stimulus checks from real taxpayers. An old saying, - give 'em enough rope, - he'll hang himself. Me thinks the U.S. just got itself more rope.

hey my last name starts with a z too.
its not because of his race or his religion. but how untrue he is to his word.
he says one thing, and then does another, need proof? look at his voting records while in the senate.his promises show hope but it isnt going to help our economy. he makes it sound like rich people are bad, when in fact they are the ones who boost our econemy. so why tax them more than the poor. that will drive jobs over seas where they wont be taxed so heavily.
he wants to rewrite our amendment to bear arms, which is only going to leave the law abiders with no protection.
he portrayed that he would send our troops home. we cant offord this, we have to finish what we started, otherwise we will be there again (we are in iraq because of something the clinton administration started).
the sad thing is he is approaching pakistan the wrong way, so we will have them against us also. we will be at war with them too.
he is too inexpierienced but worse he goes to other countries to campaign as if he was already president. thats unclassy.
dont argue politics with a war veteran. maybe this is why he didnt want a debate with mccain until the last few months. he is disrespectful to the troops giving the message that "what you feel is a good reason to fight i am condemning as funtile and pointless". if you support the troops, you must support the war. bottom line.
the part of him being muslim doesnt bother me, its the part where he changed his religion just to be accepted by the american people and win the presidency.
if he is so fair, why wouldnt he put mccain in as his secretary of defense.
he is an eloquent speaker, so was hitler, that doesnt make him fit for president.
im black, i still dont like him. not all minorities adore him. he is a disgrace. because of him me and my afro american brothers look like mindless sheep not worried about ones idea and only the color their skin.

I <3 obama, but my friend is republican and here are her reasons for hating him
1. He agrees with killing babies
2. He is a hippie (which, i don't really get?)
Those are her strong supported ideas as to why she HATES him. And, I am not saying this is true for everybody- or even anybody but her- but I thought I'd give those ideas out there.

i am in the middle so i can see some of both sides, i have a friend who grew up in Germany which is a socialist country people think that it is awesome till they are there. He has told us many of the things that happened because of it and Obama is a socialist that's scary i don't want that for our country. He is young and doesn't have enough life experience to pull from im only 20 and i understand that age really does matter. I honestly don't give a crap if he is muslim everyone has a write to choose their own religion and i can't stand when that is people's argument. i was very irritated that some people voted for him just because he was Half black the half is what some people seem to forget. people should never vote based on color or sex that's stupid people need to look deeper. Anyways i think that the people that do hate him is because they are afraid of change. And i know both said change but when obama talked about it he made it sound like he hated the country while when McCain talked about it he said it in a much more positive way. i really do hope that he proves people wrong and is a great president!

I dont hate Obama personally.
I think he's probably a good family man with good intentions.
I just hate his liberal leanings
Liberalism will be the downfall of this country as it has been in the EU (just look at France being overrun by Muslims from North Africa)

a)is not an arab or muslim (just to clear that up -McCain even said so)
His high school transcript lists his religion as Muslim.
b) has appointed republicans to his cabinet -something mccain would not have done and it shows respect for the democratic process -he cares and wants to ensure repulican 'ideals' are represented in his government because people voted for them
Unless you are psychic, you have no idea what Mc Cain would have done. there are many democrats serving under Republican presidents.
c) he has given hope to and inspired millions, these are 2 things which move nations forwards -and he's given it to America! America had hope long before obama came along, and hope will remain long after he is gone. obama had nothing to do with it.
d) he's not a communist or a socialist, some of his policies seem left wing but if you stand his policies to that of, say, the USSR, anyone with more than 30% of their brain can see he's no communist or socialist
If i compare obamas policies to that of Russia and Cuba, i would say the similarities are striking...
e) he has given hope to one of the poorest minorities in America that they can make something of themselves, that the american dream can still be acheived!
Name one thing that obama has done to empower the poor..... Promising them something for nothing is not hope, it's slavery
f) he's a smart and eloqouent speaker
So was Hitler.
g) he's a decent guy
Unless you know him personally, you just guessing again. When your job is gone, and your reliant on welfare for your existance, lets see how great obama is then.. oh, wait, i forgot, thats liberal utopia.....

Why is it that Obama and his wife are not proud to be Americans prior to his election? Why isn't the American dream available to everyone like it was available to the Obamas? All Obama wants to do is change, change, change that we can believe in, and I sure did like the America that the Obamas grew up in. America had its problems, but to take from the rich as he says and give to the poor. I am not in favor of the government being in control of the money that I make for their own personal beliefs. That certainly is not what America is about. I believe in an America that rewards hard work and sacrifice to gain prominence and satisfaction, not beholding to the government for all your needs and take care of you from the cradle to the grave. I think people should go back to standing answerable for their actions and not having to depend on the Government and others to bail them out.
Family, friends, civic organizations and churches should be the primary care givers of those in need, not the government.
I think you are confusing the far left hate of Bush with the republicans distaste of how Obama ran his campaign to all his questionable friendly associations with corrupt and despized people and being a person of very little substance except for the ability to be carasamatic and the gift of a convincing gab. He has no past record of any accomplishments as a community orginazor except ACORN and never voted on any controsvery bill in the senate except present...if that is hate to you...so be it
