Will the bailout money be kept track of?

I think that if we do bailout the bailout then we have a right to know where it was spent.

Update:

I was thinking about the federal level monitoring it....like the treasury department or something like that.

Bloomberg news has sued the Fed under the Freedom of information act to disclose where the money went.

Of course the Fed does not want anyone to know where it went, because about half of it went to FOREIGN BANKS!

Ask Chris Dodd, the brilliant democrat that wrote the bill, but failed to put any oversight in it. Heck no it won't be kept track of. In fact, there has been speculation that Bank of America wrote the bill for Dodd. Interesting read if nothing else.

Good luck with that one. AIG already used $400,000 after the bailout to send their execs to a resort in California. What a waste of money. I haven't been on a vacation in over 5 years and I bust my @ss at my 2 jobs everyday.

    Edit:

Monitoring it on a federal level wouldn't do much good anyways. Most of the companies have already spent a decent amount of what they were given. $700 billion isn't really that much considering the annual GDP is $13 trillion. If were to do anything, they would seize corporate assets (those they haven't already bought up) to start paying back the loan, like airplanes and luxury company cars, and watching who gets bonuses and how much.

EXACTLY. But the people of America don't run the show. Realize this and some other things might come to you as enlightenment.

I was just reading a headline on Yahoo! news saying something about officials saying that "700 billion bailout spending will be hard to keep track of." Yea, real reassuring. Why can't the American people be fighting for this? Causing upheaval of the powers that be that are taring us apart? Either way I already know that it's going to get TERRIBLY worse before it gets better for just a few.

The Democrats will, yes. The Republicans haven't, they just gave it to the banks and now they say they don't know or care what it was spent on.
