I am a single mom of a 5 year old daughter. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's. Hannah's 5th birthday is August 21.
How do I help my 5 year old adjust to kindergarten?
She doesn't want to go and throws fits in the morning. She wants to go back to preschool or stay home.The other day I had to carry her to school (I live across the street). She bit me the whole way. I had bite marks and bruises all over my arms and was bleeding from one of them. Also, she just turned 5 August 21.

From what I have heard she was a surrogate who used her eggs. This does not qualify as selling her children. She still has a biological connection and did show an interest when it was possible that he might go to jail. She is showing an interest now that he is dead.She seems like a mellow person usually. She seemed upset about being touched and I think the negative criticism of her had alot to do with her outburst. I just feel a little different about her then everyone else seems to.

I come from a Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant family. My father is 3/4 Jewish. My maternal grandmother was raised protestant (she converted to catholicism) and my maternal grandfather was catholic. Both sides also have Native American in them. I usually attend a 7th day Adventist church, but will worship at anyplace.

Last time I checked we had freedom of religion and parents could name their children whatever they wanted. i am white and part Jewish and the name and religion thing does not bother me. I voted Obama. Just wanted to know why people are so closed minded.

People make comments about welfare and blacks, think that all women should be at home with their kids- even if they have to work, make comments about single moms, etc.
