Is Hawaii the last place to celebrate 2009?

Trying to figure out where midnight is last in the world. Would it be Hawaii?

    Debijs....why all of a sudden U r so time conscious to know who is the last to walk out of 2008.

    Honolulu time Wed ....... 10.15 pm

    Anchorage time Wed .........11.15pm

    To let U know the exact timing.....now London 8.15 am (GMT-0)

    EU time 9.15 am (GMT+1)

    Sin/HK/Beijing Thurs 16.15 (GMT+8)

    So from what you can see Honolulu is the last to walk out in 1 hr 45m

    Its Samoa. Hawaii is an hour ahead of Samoa.

    Nope, Baker and Howland Islands in the Pacific, 12 hours behind GMT

    In the U.S. it would be Guam. The world is a bit bigger than the U.S.
