I can think of two. The first spent a lot of time in the Card's organization:Stubby Clapp. The second is a coach in the White Sox organization: Razor Shines.

But, there has to be more.

A few years ago a construction crew dug a hole behind a fast-food place on Long Island found a complete subway system built in the 1920s which ran out to the Hamptons. It had platforms, rails and even lighting fixtures. They called it the South Fork subway. Did they ever put it to use?

I keep reading questions which assert the President is going to cut this benefit or have folks be charged for using some benefit, all involving military and veterans' programs. That is the job of the Congress under Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution.

It appears to me that they believe all assignments in the military are in Rangers, Special Forces, etc. They ask the same questions over and over, even though YA gives them a prompt about similar questions already posed.

And if it is a high percentage, would this be a good idea for improving infrastructure?

In particular, Article Two.

I see more and more questions where applicants want to fudge the truth or outright lie about their medical history. Do they think their symptoms won't show up during training or some doctor at MEPS won't catch it?

In 2005 nearly 8,000 men and women were discharged for EPTS conditions from all branches. How far did they think they would get?

There were 44 passengers on that commuter flight which crashed in Clarence, New York. Two of the passengers were retired military reservists! The bookies where I live in Southern Nevada wouldn't lay out a line or handicap such a possibility.

Which movies in particular?

If so, will it be a reduced amount compared to that which is targeted for States which voted for Obama and Biden?

Now and then I get a call on my cell phone from a number in the same area code. I answer it and hear nothing. So, I disconnect. The number that was calling is displayed on my cell phone. So, I call it back only to have an intercept operator tell me the number is not in service or has been disconnected. All this after only a few moments elapsed time.

Believe it or not those guys play their hearts out for a lot less money than the lowest paid major leaguer. I gave up on MLB parks years ago. Can't afford it and the level of play isn't that much better.

I've noted of late a lot of questions in this category dealing with video games and TV shows instead of real military questions. This indicates to me that some posing questions don't know the difference between serving in the military and the fantasy world of the joy stick and the remote control.

On Saturday January 10th, history will be made in the Navy and in the nation. A President of the U.S. will participate in the commissioning ceremony of an aircraft carrier named for another President: his father! Never happened before and probably won't ever happen again!

Lots of questions in this category from folks with a history of ADD/ADHD, Bi-Polar, Depression, etc. All conditions which render them disqualified for the armed forces. Many also look on the medical waiver system as some sort of "do over". Does anyone else worry that the pool of applicants will go down because of the practice of medicating our children.
