Do you know of any ballplayers with "real" baseball names?

I can think of two. The first spent a lot of time in the Card's organization:Stubby Clapp. The second is a coach in the White Sox organization: Razor Shines.

But, there has to be more.

Trot Nixon, Red Sox minor leaguer Dusty Brown, Homer Bailey as everyone said already. That one is funny b/c he's a pitcher. Pokey Reese, utility infielder... anyone named CC, Gabe, or Augie must be a baseball player.

Johnny Damon - either a ballplayer or a soap opera star who dabbles in bad pop music. A also like Rocco Baldelli. Don't forget Babe Ruth and Willie Mays, also two great baseball names.
