These are two antithetic lines:
Some may be persons or things. Is the reference here to I, you, Brother/cousin relative or to It such as my poem, my lines, etc?
If you are centuries old. you have an origin in time or did you think origin implied where only.
It felt that you decided to sure linguistic/simplistic and just made up something to go with them. Also, the voice started 1st person singular. If you wanted to expand beyond that, you gave your reader no reason for the change. Good thoughts but you need to exercise more care in tone and movement!
