Wrecked a camera with a spud gun , can I get the video back?

I was out the back and we were shooting bottles off a peice of tin with the camera a metre from the target , I went and shot the camera , which pretty much blew it apart , of course the file for the camera is still there , but it hasnt closed or finalised the video , and it is corrupt.

is there any way to fix the mp4 data on the sd card which is damaged , mp4 files wrote , except the last one which is the moment the camera went bye bye. I would love to fix the video , or somehow repair it. any advice?

Update:

if it is any consilation I fixed the problem by cutting the code from another simalar sized .mp4 and pasted it in wordpad , then renamed the extension , which was enough to get the video into video vegas to edit for you tube , may as well have a look see..

A data recovery company may be able to get the files out, but they're expensive. Still, they're your best bet -- that, or a local camera repair shop.
