Returning 2 Hollister shirts without price tags?

So I know Hollister shirts shrink when put in the dryer. I've always been careful with that; however, this one time, I just bought 2 new shirts from Hollister, and I put it in the dryer, absent mindedly.

My aunt recommended returning it, and she gave me the receipts [she bought those as gifts for me]. I could go in there and say it was "manufacturing defects," but I don't know if it works because I already ripped out the price tags.

Update:

LOL. Of course I'm not trying to get $$ back; I just want to exchange them since they shrunk and I can't wear it anymore.

Best thing you can do is try; worst that'll happen is they say "No, go away".

In addition to the other posters: The Old Testament, The Septuagint [translated from Hebrew to Greek somewhere 250 BC] was in placed at that time, used even before Jesus' time. The New Testament was written 35-100 AD and translated to latin by St Jerome, sometimes 400 AD. It is still on parchments and read in the church, or preached orally. So, there IS NO NEW TESTAMENTS IN A BOOK/BIBLE FORM AT THAT TIME compiled with Septuagint.' Bible alone' theory is not in existence at that time as there is NO BOOK to call bible. It was the use of Oral Tradition up until 1400 when the 'compiled book form bible' finally hit the printing press. In other words, it took the Catholic Church about 400 years of gathering, editing, and sorting the ancient manuscripts and got printed in 1400. There were also a lot of uninspired writings [apocryphal books] that were floating around that were not cannonized.

of course you can return them, they'll just stick new price tags on them. plus it was Christmas gift, and how ofter do people leave price tags on gifts? as long as you have the receipt like you said, then everything should be solid. I can't guarantee that you'll get money back, most likey an exchange or something.

But you also did say that you washed it, which is definite no no when trying to return something, but hopefully they won't notice.

    Good Luck

hollister employees are nice. you can return them and they will accept it as long as you have the receipt. they will probly get new tags anyway. best to have an adult, they can argue if there are problems in this. your excuse is that you grabbed the wrong size and u already took the tags off. i think they will gladly except it and even let you exhange...good luck tho!

They won't take them back, trust me. You have to have a specific reason for returning them and the tags.

they'll probably ask for the tags and just say that u already took them off and you didn't know you had to have them, talk to them they should give it to you because you have the receipt

You probably wont be able to return them. However if you just need some money back try selling them online auction style.

Um. You can't return damaged clothing.

Even if you did have the tags, they aren't dumb, they know damaged when they see it.

i don't think they will accept it, they probably think you've already worn it
