How do you start a Zune?
I got one for Christmas and my computer won't download the Microsoft program. I have Windows XP.
I tried both and I get a message saying that it can't connect with Microsoft.

SOLUTIONS
1) If you haven't already tried downloading the software from www.zune.net try that.
2) I believe there is also a way to use the new version of windows media player but in not sure about that. i
3) If you have an Xbox 360 try connecting it to that. but if your computer won't download a program that Microsoft made for it's own OS thats a problem and you should probably call tech support
4) return it and get an iPod!
5) Use a friends computer.
6) ASK TECH SUPPORT!!
reasons why APPLE ROCKS
1) ipods have more memory than zunes and (on select models) FM radio.
2) the zune pass gets rid of your music if you stop paying the $15
3) ipods are cheaper
reasons why zunes rock
1) unlimited music!!
2) it makes you a rebel (kindof)
3) it comes with in-ear headphones if you buy the 80 gb
4) the social? i guess, (i've always thought it sucked)
all reasons aside ipods do really work better than zunes (i've tried both)

Did you try downloading the software from:
http://www.zune.net/en-us/software/download/defaul...
if that doesn't work you could search "Zune software download" w/o quotes and you should be able to find some other sites to download it from. You want version 3.0.
