Who do u think the lions...?

I do not think Mike is the guy for Detroit. The Lions need to look for a coach who knows how to rebuild a team. They either need to seek out Bill Parcells if he is interested in coaching again or Marty Schottenheimer, a guy who has definitely announced his interest to return to coach. Both guys have taken four different run down teams and managed to build them into championship contenders. Shanahan's Hall of Fame resume lacks that reputation. I cannot tell you how the draft will go though. My thoughts on the Lions pick definitely lean towards the defensive side of the ball. If not a defensive player, definitely an offensive lineman. After all... What good is a quarterback that is not getting protected or a runningback with no holes to run through? More than likely, if the Lions do not bring in one of the two guys I mentioned, they will probably draft a quarterback.

I've seen a lot of folks saying they will draft either Stafford or Bradford (assuming one or both come out). Andre Smith would probably be the best pick, because once you establish an O-line, it can make average players look great.

I just wonder if they'll try to trade that pick for more and have a big time roster overhall this offseason. They've got some guys in there they'd want to keep (Calvin Johnson could be great), but they really need to chance the atmosphere around the team.

I think that the Lions should not even be playing the 2009 season! The whole team should tender resignations, sit at home, drink Cola and watch the other teams play!
