I was wondering if it was really worth it?

I joined this Q/A site in hopes of helping real people with real questions. For the most part all I see is a bunch of Atheist posing the same questions over and over again to Christians. My goal here was to really help someone find a Biblical answer to their questions. I do not want to waist my time as God calls us to be good stewards with all that He gives us. So, my question then is, in the two weeks I have been here, has anyone been helped at all by my answers? Or, is it just a waist of my time and yours. Thanks for answering, and may God bless all that trust in Christ.

Update:

Don't assess yourself by your results. Where would Noah or Jeremiah be if they did that?

Assess yourself by your faithfulness to God's calling and truth.

Whether or not anyone acknowledges your helpfulness, scriptural answers still plant seeds, and leave the godless with no excuse.

If the Lord tarries his return, our seemingly small impact can go on to produce major ripples in eternity.

Do what you believe is right; keep your eyes in Jesus, and don't worry with the reaction of others.

    Hebrews 12:3 (KJV)

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

    I agree with Monica (above).

While you may not see the fruits of your labor here, there are many people who have read your answers/questions. Remember, some plant the seed, some water, but God gives the increase (paraphrased from 1 Cor. 3:6). The fact of the matter is that I too was discouraged after being on R&S for a while, but I stuck with it and I believe that I have been able to encourage many others and defend the faith. Remember that our reward is not on earth but in Heaven.

God bless you brother in what ever you decide to do.

I enjoy reading the answers you pose to the questions. In reality, all we can do is hope that what we are doing is making a difference and that we aren't wasting our time.

That and pray for guidance in the event that someone with a real question or need comes forward.

  • I see much more often a bunch of Christians posing the same questions over and over again to atheists...

Source(s): By the way, why do a lot of people miss the 's' off 'atheists'?

    Be patient.

You cannot hold back the tides, just by telling them to stop.

Nor can you speed up the process of helping those in need.

They will come, in their own time.

As for the tennis match-like back and forth, welcome to R&S.

Hang in there, your skills will be drawn upon, soon enough.

    :)

you are doing the exact same thing that the "athiests are doing"

Stop attacking them and grouping them together for no reason other than their faith (or lack of)
