Why do atheists proselytize?

Ah but you admit it only happens to christians - now that should have told you something already!!!

Ask yourself why it is only Christians that get attacked and not the other religions?!!!!

Do you not recognise that Christians are provoking retaliation and repudiation for their terrible attitudes?!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped their intolerant, egotistical, hate filled and bigoted postings things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped eschewing education, science, evolution works of fiction and much, much more things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped being the only religion opposing human rights and persecuting gays, pro choice and so much more things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped demanding freedom of religion whilst they deny it to all non Christians and persecute them things might change!! !!!

If Christians rediscovered the god of love and forgiveness and put aside all those terrible human emotions things would definitely change!!!!

Why are Christians so afraid of people who simply do not believe in any god?!!!! Surely it can only be because they are so afraid that atheist are right and they are wrong or it would not bother them!!!!!!

As soon as Christians rediscover the loving god and start acting like it the problem will cease!!!!

I suppose atheists maggots have got to do something than just tell themselves that they don't believe in anything. Who was it that told them to go out and discredit religion? I don't see them knocking Jews a lot, so perhaps since Jews, especially the Zionist, seethe with Christian hatred, proselytizing atheists are Zionist, and Zionist don't really believe in God, as evidenced by the current world meltdown and escalated suffering in places like Gaza and in almost every part of the world.

You don't see the difference? Poor you. Atheists do not tell christians that they are going to hell for their beliefs. Atheists don't try to guilt christians into changing their beliefs for the childish notion of everlasting life. If you really don't recognize a difference here, then I understand why you are christian.

I have no problem with you attempting to do the same to me, the difference is that I require measurable evidence for belief and you do not.

I am trying to get you to base your belief system on reliable data, because history shows how incredibly dangerous, not doing so can be.

I know you disagree and believe your flavor of religion to be the 'true' flavor, therefor superior to the rest, but honestly ask yourself when the last time you shunned someone (to help them) and would you normally do that if it wasn't for your religious belief.

Your religion causes you to harm people mentally, but you have been warped to view it as a positive thing, to the point of accepting that a majority of humanity will one day be destroyed by the God you worship.

Its harmful, that is why I am trying to save you from it.

So are you saying that atheists can't have a voice in this country? Because for so many years Christians have been proselytizing nonstop. I personally think it's time for some voices of reason.

And BTW, someone having an opinion is not proselytizing, so stop getting all butthurt.

I don't try to convert anyone. I judge things by my own life. There has simply been no proof in any way, shape or form of a higher being.

The Godess Athe enjoins us to spread the good news of atheism among the Believers.

If we can manage to convert enough of you sorry berks, we get a gold star, and you stop starting wars we have to pay for.

Us atheists are divided on many issues. This is one of them. Some of us want to be in the fight and think converting is a part of it, and some of us want to stay out and ignore the fight and don't like people who are trying to convert people. I'm a fighter, I want Christians to try to convert me so I can counter attack them with disbelief.

Everyone does this. Christian, atheist, Muslim, Star Wars fans, etc. They all try to make everyone think like them.

And let me know when atheists start going door to door dressed like waiters asking you to accept the "good news" of atheism. Or start asking you for your money on TV in front of thousands of fanatic followers. Or start putting up billboards extolling the "wisdom" of their book.
