No, not too much power. But you should get rid of the red top and replace it with a Kinetik, also. Optima's are utter crap.

In situations like that I don't think there it is possible to have to much power. you just have more of a back up if your alternator cant keep up if the volume is up. It will just make it less likely that your lights dim or any thing like that.
