Why do right wing pundits like Bill O and Sean Hannity insist that white guilt is the reason OBama was elected?

It is because they cannot accept the fact that a majority of Americans has rejected the policies of the Republicans. Conservatives have always believed that secretly all of us really buy into their philosophy. Barry Goldwater's slogan was, "In your heart, you know he is right."

So when people actually vote for liberal candidates, conservates are always looking for another explanation. They do not want to believe that we voted for Obama because we like his ideas, and we really don't care very much about the color of his skin.

WHY? do YOU think BO is better for the job? He has no experience on which to judge his abilities and he wasn't even bright enough to vote anything but *present* while in the Senate. As a white person I would never vote because of any white *guilt* for a man so freaking unqualified. Come back here 5 months from now and we'll talk then!

I'm glad that Obama is listening to Bush now and taking his advice. I think we are going to see a much different Obama than we have seen in the past. I don't care what color he is either. They need to be able to wrap their minds around why Obama won. It just so happens that this provides a convenient excuse. The other option would be that the Republican message and ideology is outdated. Oh well another one bites the dust. I'm guessing the Republicans will be reduced to 3rd party status shortly.
