I bought it because I was nursing, I loved it! I couldn't imagine breast feeding and not having one ..

By having the Boppy pillow it was like it gave me an extra arm. I could nurse hands-free.

I would lay the baby on the Boppy pillow and had both hands free to eat, type, read, etc...

I was having a really hard time with nursing positions, so when my daughter was about 2 weeks old I bought a Boppy. It really helped a lot. I still could only manage the football hold for months after, but at least it made that easily possible and I could occasionally get a hand free that way. When my son was born 2 years later I was sure to buy a new Boppy and take it with me to the hospital.

I got one for nursing, and truthfully I hated it! It was much easier for me to use a regular old pillow across my lap than the boppy. When I had the boppy around me, I wasn't able to lean back on the couch/chair and still have the boppy touching me. I know I'm an oddball in this department.

I looooooove my Boppy pillow! It makes everything so much easier with breastfeeding and even my boyfriend uses it when he feeds the baby so that he can mimic the breastfeeding experience as close as possible for the baby.

Also, it's great that both the boppy pillow and covers are machine washable!

I think it's a necessity if you plan to breastfeed- your arms get tired holding up the weight of the baby without it! Pillows work in a pinch, but the shape of a boppy is really nice

Yes, and I love the boppy. In fact, I bought two...so I didn't have to keep lugging the same one around. It was great for nursing and cuddling. My hubby ends up using the boppy now while he plays video games (to prop his arms up). It is really funny looking! lol

They are worth the cost, and I love all of the fun covers. I bought the velour ones...so soft.

I did not buy the Boppy brand pillow, I bought the WalMart one because it was half the price and does the job just as well as the brand name pillow.

i could purchase a used Boppy. they are produced from an identical textile as any universal pillow so which you will wash and dry it yet then to characteristic to it, additionally they comprise distinctive slip covers so which you will upload one greater layer of secure practices. i does no longer use it with out washing it first. while you're no longer totally mushy paying for one used be assured that the money you spend on a sparkling one remains nicely worth it. i take advantage of ours for breastfeeding, tummy time while my little guy substitute right into slightly youthful and now to help him sit down supported as quickly as we watch movies and what no longer.

Yes. I bought one because everyone told me to, I was not really sure why. But now, I sit my 5 week old son up in it to eat (easy for him, because he can already hold his head up). He loves it, he likes to sit in it and look around, and nap in it too (although i wouldn't say to let a baby nap in it unless you are right there). I would definitely recommend one, even if you can't sit them up in it at 5 weeks, you can still use it to feed in the normal position (which keeps you from feeling like your arm is breaking when you feed). And your baby will be able to sit up in it whenever they can hold up their head.

I didn't have one for my first, but bought one recently for the next baby. It seems to be convenient, so I thought I would try it this time. Plus, I got it at Ross for $15.00 with a cover, so it was a great deal.
