I just bought an Apple iPod touch 8GB. I am having trouble figuring it out. HELP! ?

Question

I went to www.apple.com/ipodtouch/guidedtour so I can see how to use this thing. I already have itunes downloaded on my computer and have already registered the ipod though itunes. Now I want to use al it features, like search the web and stuff. How do I do this? When I went to the web site I listed above it told me to download quiktime player. I do that. It said the download was complete. I went an clicked on view guided tour and it keeps saying for me to download quiktime even though I have already done this. Please help, I would really like to use my ipod today. Than you!

What do I do if I don't have wireless internet? Doesn't the iPod borrow it from surrounding computers that have it?

to connect to the internet, you have to either connect to your router or be at a hotspot like starbucks. something else you can do is while listening to a song turn your itouch horizontally and you can then view the cover flow. ipod touch is really cool. you should go to apple.com and see the itouch video which shows you some of its features.

If you want to use the internet, all you have to do on the iPod is go to Safari. This is the first option on the menu in the top right hand corner of the screen. You have to have wireless internet however. If I were you, just get on the iPod and explore the different buttons and see what each does.

Did you get a router for you home otherwise good luck unless your in a wifi area that is not locked like starbucks as said already

iPod's are'nt difficult. I got mine Christmas and put songs on it the day after.
