NOT EVERYTHING IS AS IT SEEMS?

This question is for only those who believe in God. I'm not looking for stupid answers. I would like everyone to think about this real hard before answering.

Are all Christians saved? And is everyone that is saved, a Christian?

Before answering, you must know what the Definition of a Christians is, and what the Bible says about being saved.

Thanks for answering.

Update:

Ok, I guess I need to clearify myself. This question is to anyone who believes in the God of the Holy Bible. You know, the one true God.

Update 2:

Golden.... Read Act 11:26

The "saved" are those who have "received" (John 1:12) according to the formula given in Romans 10:9-13.

The Bible doesn't differ between denominations, religion, etc... It's very simple.

    1 John 5:12 (KJV)

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

About your question - if "Christian" is just how people refer to themselves or their "religion," then there are many who are unsaved.

Also, there are many who have the Son and Life, but do not practice "religious" Christianity as most in our culture would expect.

Billy Graham used to say that about 85% of American church goers are lost, having never received Christ for themselves. I suspect he was right about that.

  • There are people that are among God's elect but as yet unsaved.

All of the elect will be saved as God cannot err.

It is truly wise of God to conceal from us who will ultimately be saved and who will not heed Him. It is not for us to know the hearts of men for God the Holy Spirit can and does overshadow the hearts of men and women everywhere and changes them.

All who are saved are saved through the shed blood of Christ on Calvary's cross and therefore become Christians. It makes no difference as to how they started life and in what religion or lack thereof.

In just the right time God the Father will signal to the Son that the time has come to return.

    Great question.

Christains are saved if they follow the "Roman Road" (John 3:16)...

Everyone that does so is saved...

A Christian is a follower of Christ...

The Bible says (Read first part)

    Once saved is always saved...

I could spout verse after verse from the KJV, NKJV, NIV, LB, NLIV, The Book...etc, because I read them all and studied them all... oh, and I am a Pagan, so I am sorry that I answered, but... I love to learn and am not afraid to learn all I can about all religions from the source and not from the followers.

Per Paul, salvation is universal - "As in Adam, all die, so in Christ, are all made alive." It has nothing to do with beliefs or anything else, but the overcoming of death by the Lord Jesus Christ.

From the Bible, those who are identified as Christians are the followers (disciples or students) of Jesus Christ. Therefore, a Christian is a follower, which I interpret to be someone who attempts to live the commandments as provided by Jesus Christ.

As to salvation, Paul's comment appears to say that the entire human family is saved, so to answer your question, no not all that are saved are necessarily Christian or even know about Jesus.

Given later information in the New Testament, it appears that all will be taught about Jesus and then be judged accordingly.

Try this question: Do all people who claim to be Christians have a relationship with God? Being saved is me being saved from the eternal separation from God in Hell. Jesus has offered His life in place of ours. We don't deserve it. But when we receive that gift, we are saved. When we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord then you will be saved. It is not only a vocal confession, but something that must be proved we believe in our daily lives.

Not all those who call themselves Christians are saved. Only those who have placed their faith in the finished work of the Cross. Yes everyone who is saved is a Christian.

I don't have to know what the Definition of a Christian is since you seem to have a very obscure one.

My answer is that good people are saved regardless of their beliefs.

Christ didn't die so a child in Sudan would be eternally doomed.

He died so that people of all kinds could be saved.

If you were born and raised into the Shinto religion, and you did just duty to that, and never heard the Word, your are saved into the all consuming righteousness that is our Savior.

good first you pass with intuition and allow it out, then you definately seem intensive at your lifestyles and also you attempt to seem for a minimum of one well factor, when you uncover that well factor develop on that factor should you wallow in the truth that the whole thing is happening hill you'll preserve to move down hill should you discover that it fairly would be worse and that you'll difference your drawback then you definately have3 a risk at solving/replacing whats inflicting you to move down hill within the first location. Think of it as a holiday from pushing up hill and having a laugh within the chaos of rolling down the hill

well there remains a simple problem here .. 2 so called christian camps ... one says i follow jesus so I'm a christian .. huh seems logical The second says .. i'm a christian because I trust christs substitutionary death as if he had died in my place ...and accepted the penalty which was due .. me ......Who is the christian??

Number 2 .. it's possible to pridefully work to be like christ and basically be a good/// person ..//according to manly standards ..AND not really be a christian

ASK yourself this one question ......WHO...which of the 2 people are doing exactly what the unsaved man is doing ...

The unsaved man can not do what the second man does ... he will not .....Trust in christs death and resurrection fully for the salvation of his immortal soul;...... he can and does seek to be ...>> righteous or good apart from god .... now you tell me .. who's saved ..??

i dont believe were saved yet..... its he who endures to the end its a phrase people use badly really cause if u ask for jesus to save u and u believe he died for us and rose three days later how can u b saved right then forever? because if u turn away from god n side with the devil n dont ask for forgiveness u will more then likely go to hell right? so ur not saved after all but its the ones who endure to the end of their life
