Return to previous job or wait for something better?
I need a job and have an opportunity to return to a previous position.
I hated it and was extremely happy when I left, but am finding it hard to even get an interview anymore.
I'm moving home so have everything covered until I get a job. Should I use this time living at my dads to find something better that I would enjoy more, or just suck it up and go back to a horrible job?
What would you do?

It probably wasn't a good idea to quit a job without having another one but I would not go back to a job that you felt was horrible. Since you have forced yourself into this time off I would take advantage of the time and search and search and search until you have looked into every single job opportunity available. Granted the market is tough but this should give you the chance to find something and actually go out on some interviews.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

The economy is so bad right now that I would take any job I could get if I were unemployed. It looks better to be working, even if you don't like the job that much, than to have gaps in your employment history.
You can find something better while you are still working.
I would take my old job and continue the job hunt. Who knows when the economy will improve.

Honestly, I would take the job until something else came along. I would never quit the job I have now until I knew I had another one. It's hard to find jobs (at least where I'm at it is).
