Is it true you can apply highlights just with your fingers?

No It gets thick, crooked, and blotchy

just let a professional do it, trust me i tried to do it with a comb and it gave me circles

Yes, it's true.

I've done this before using the gloves in the highlighting kit from Clairol Herbal Essences. I ended up with finger sized streaks instead of small thin ones from the comb.

You can also use a cheap hair brush or comb to do the same thing, brush or comb the highlights into your hair & let sit for the time frame in the kit. My sister does this & her highlights look great.

yh iz true but ur fingers get all muky nd the stainz dont come of 4 ages. so id say not 2 do it wiv ur hands if u dont have 2.

well my friend ty tried to put in highlights that way because her sister said it was really easy to do.

so she tried putting in a blonde with it but it turned out a white looking color but she might have done something wrong

well i dont no dat much really not sure but i was reading dat u can mix any color kool aid and put it in ur hair as highlights (differant colors everyday) LoL

yes if you buy hair colour and just apply it to the strands of your hair you want highlighted and then cover them in tin foil for about 20 minutes then wash the strands of hair using cotton wool balls and warm water :)

well,it is yeah, but usually u would buy the box to do it at home, you can still do it with your fingers there is justa little more saftey and secturity involved (your hair will look better this was)

I'm not sure. Probobly. But, with gloves, because if you dont use gloves then it might harm your skin. ♥
