Does exercise get rid of cellulite ?

if so how long will it take doing 35 minutes on the elliptical and 20 min on a stairmaster so the trick? How much of the cellulite will go away- all or just a fraction?

    Exercise will get rid of cellulite.

    Exercising for 1 hour a day as you mentioned, depending on how hard you push yourself, you should see some weight loss within a week. You should also see some muscle toning.

    But... if you are looking to get rid of cellulite in one particular place on the body, you will need to keep exercising for quite awhile. There is no exercise in the world that targets a specific piece of fat - that is not how the body works. The energy to use your muscles comes from sugars. Once your sugars are used up, the body will convert fat into sugar - this does not happen instantly!

    Think of an ice sculpture on a warm summer day - the entire ice sculpture melts, not just one part of it. The places with the least amount of ice will diminish the quickest, the places where there is the most will take the longest to melt.

    How fast your cellulite sticks around depends on your diet, your exercise, your metabolism, etc.

    Cellulite dimpling is hereditary, however it can be much more obvious because of factors including inadequate diet program, little exercise, not drinking enough water, hormones, and greater unwanted fat. The bumps are there because of fat cells pushing against the vertical connective tissue.

    Cellulite creams, pills, along with other remedies are not very efficient at eliminating dimply skin from cellulite.     I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.

    However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.
