i have been diagnosed with m.e. recently *worried*?

I was wondering is there any good advice for dealing with it? it affects me kinda bad, i have trouble lifting weight i.e a kettle for example, *i'm only 20!! surely thats bad??*

plus i get a lot of bad pain in my back and such, i have flat feet which doesnt help, but i also work too i dont want to end up being a scummer on benefits but sometimes it's really difficult anyone got any suggestions on therapies that are good?

*the hospital has given me medicine and a physiotherapist*

    Massage therapy sometimes help relieve the some of the pain and it can provide a little bit of a boost to your strength (although it can also have the opposite effect with some people). Stretching might help with the back problems - there's some good info at the link.

    One thing that sometimes helps with strength is to take a calcium/magnesium supplement once or twice a day. This is hit or miss -if you don't notice a difference after several days with one tablet, try two tablets, and if there's still no obvious difference in a couple more days, then this isn't something that will help.

    My aunt has M.E. and she says that swimming is a good way to increase your strength because you can go at your own pace and can gradually get better at it..
