I have a a really painful ache behind my right eye when moving it. Really freaked out. Please hellllpppppp!?
Basically, it started coming on yesterday evening. It's like an internal ache all around the top of my eye when I move it about, it even hurts when I move my head. :(
I went to the opticians yesterday in the day but the pain didn't start until a few hours after that.
I don't really feel unwell in the rest of me. Like perhaps a little under the weather but nothing too bad.
My eye feels a bit hot and uncomfortable too.
Also, I had optic neuritis seven years ago and it started with a pain similiar to this one. I'm really worried that it might have come back but I just don't believe it could have. It would be too unlucky and unbelievable.
Any suggestions? What should I do? What could it be?
Please, please reply. I'm really upset. :(

could be dry eye,or eye strain, try to cover with a cool clothe and keep lights down to take any added strain away,if you saw a optician if anything had been wrong they would of seen it then,or it could be the start of a migraine, take some anti inflammetry and relax

i am not completely sure about it, but i have also had some pains behind my eye in the past. i am stubborn though and refuse to take medication, unless i really need it. what i usually end up doing is sleeping it off. hopefully it is similar to what i had in the past, so that it will go away just after sleeping it off.
