Pain behind my right eye on movement. REALLY need some advice and help please.?

Basically, it started coming on yesterday evening. It's like an internal ache all around the top of my eye when I move it about, it even hurts when I move my head. :(

I went to the opticians yesterday in the day but the pain didn't start until a few hours after that.

I don't really feel unwell in the rest of me. Like perhaps a little under the weather but nothing too bad.

My eye feels a bit hot and uncomfortable too.

Also, I had optic neuritis seven years ago and it started with a pain similiar to this one. I'm really worried that it might have come back but I just don't believe it could have. It would be too unlucky and unbelievable.

Any suggestions? What should I do? What could it be?

Please, please reply. I'm really upset. :(

Sounds like it is related to the visit to the optician. Quite likely not serious but possibly. Try not to worry, as that won't help anyway, but first thing in the morning call your family doctor or your ophthalmologist! If it is getting worse, go to the ER now. If your vision is affected, go to the ER now. If the pain is severe go to the ER now. If there is an Urgent Care facility in your area, it might be a good idea to go there.
