IPOD Touch aritst not synching right?

My I-touch I think has Alzheimers. It will play the correct song but on some of the songs the wrong artist is listed. For instance Bob Seger is listed on an Aerosmith song and so forth. The title is correct for the song but somehow the artist went MIA.

Suggestions???

    Try downloading the new update. Mine was doing something similar, switching the album covers and such, and the update fixed it.
